GNA is presently collaborating with Guildmore to advance the Hexagon Housing Association project, focusing on the completion of the RIBA Stage 4 package. This stage involves the technical design phase, ensuring all architectural details, structural engineering, and building services are meticulously planned before construction begins. With the completion of this stage, construction activities are set to commence on-site shortly.

The project is designed to offer 46 affordable housing units, thoughtfully distributed over six storeys. These units aim to provide high-quality, cost-effective living spaces for the community. Additionally, the ground floor of the building will feature commercial units, contributing to the local economy and providing convenient amenities for residents.

The foundation design for this project has required careful planning for both noise reduction and waterproofing because of the planned Bakerloo line extension running directly beneath the site.

The nearby future underground rail line presents challenges that need special engineering solutions to reduce noise and vibrations for the building's residents. This involves using sound-insulating materials and designing structures that can absorb vibrations effectively.

These detailed designs aim to ensure a high level of comfort and protection for future residents from any issues related to the underground railway.
