The main focus when designing Orchard Place was to create a feeling of calm within nature.

Nature as a Wayfinding Element in a Co-Working Space | In the modern urban landscape, co-working spaces have become vibrant hubs of productivity, innovation, and community. As these spaces evolve, the integration of natural elements into their design has emerged as a powerful tool for enhancing user experience. This narrative explores the concept of using nature as a wayfinding and route-defining element within a co-working space, transforming navigation into an intuitive and enriching journey.

Nature-Inspired Wayfinding | Utilising natural elements and biophilic design principles to guide individuals through the co-working space by Incorporating hanging plants and greenery creates an immersive environment. Offering a refreshing escape from the bustling city and fostering an ideal setting for focus and productivity.

The objectives of incorporating nature-inspired wayfinding in a co-working space include enhancing navigation with a clear and intuitive system to help users locate amenities easily, promoting well-being by creating a calming and inspiring environment with natural elements, and achieving aesthetic integration by blending nature seamlessly into the architectural and interior design.

This is further enhanced by using organically shaped curved walls and a calming colour palette inspired by nature, softening the journey throughout the space.
