Hemingways
Functionally the client required an extension to their existing warehouse facility plus new offices so that various teams that were previously based in separate buildings could come together.
On top of this the client wanted to create a central ‘hub’ space where all the various teams could meet, eat, discuss and relax in an informal setting.
Fittings and finishes were selected for both their appearance and durability so that they could be used by all staff whether they had been packing in the warehouse or holding a meeting in the boardroom.
Externally the surrounding areas were landscaped with a grassed terraced area which can function as either an informal external presentation area or as a football pitch.
