The Client approached us to create a new office that would amalgamate their current operations under one roof. The double-storey coworking space hub has been designed to not only foster creativity and productivity but also provide a dynamic, versatile environment that adapts to the diverse needs of the Client.
Design Concept | The core design concept for the new coworking hub revolved around three principles: collaborative interaction, well-being, and sustainability. These values are reflected in every aspect of the fitout, from spatial layout to material selection, ensuring a harmonious and modern space where innovation thrives.
Open and Flexible Spaces:
To encourage collaboration, our design includes open workspaces with flexible furniture that can be reconfigured to suit the needs of teams or individuals. The layout promotes seamless transitions between different working styles, from focused individual tasks to group brainstorming sessions.
Zoning and Privacy:
Whilst the open space concept is central, we recognise the importance of privacy and quiet zones. These include private offices, meeting rooms, and soundproof pods for focused work or confidential meetings. These spaces are strategically placed to balance energy and serenity.
Ground Floor Design
The ground floor is designed to be the social hub of the coworking space, where energy and ideas are shared. This floor features the following:
Café and Kitchenette:
A modern café/kitchenette area serving as a central gathering spot for staff to relax and recharge.
Meeting Rooms and Breakout Spaces:
The ground floor features various meeting rooms/booths equipped with audio-visual technology, suitable for presentations and virtual meetings. Breakout spaces with comfortable seating have been designed for informal meetings or creative brainstorming sessions.
Natural Materials: Wood, glass, and metal are used throughout the design to create a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. These materials not only add to the aesthetic appeal but also ensure durability and sustainability.
Color Palette: A neutral color palette with soft accents of natural greens and blues is selected to promote calm and focus. Feature walls with artistic murals or motivational quotes will add energy and vibrancy to communal areas.
Lighting: The design incorporates a combination of natural and artificial lighting. Large windows allow for maximum daylight to flood the space, reducing the reliance on artificial lighting. In the evening, energy-efficient LED lights will create a balanced, warm ambiance conducive to both working and socializing.
