A number of our young aspiring staff recently had the pleasure of attending a Women in Property networking event to discuss the development of Leeds Aire Park.
A transformative regenerative development scheme near the historic Tetley Brewery hosted in their very own newly completed 1 & 3 South Brook Street.
This event not only showcased the remarkable potential of Aire Park but also their future plans for the currently closed historic Tetley Brewery. Leeds Aire Park is a mixed-use regeneration scheme that aims to celebrate Leeds' industry and build on the long-standing history of the site. By reconnecting the south side to the city centre, this development is bridging physical and social divides, creating a vibrant and accessible urban hub. At its core, Aire Park is designed with adaptability, functionality, and community in mind. The project reinstates the Tetley Brewery as a landmark, celebrating its historical significance while integrating it into a modern vision for Leeds. Surrounding the landmark will be the proposed largest new city park in the UK—an expansive green space that serves a dual purpose.
Beyond its role as a multifunctional community space, the park aims to become an adaptable hosting space for events such as the Leed’s Light Night. Once complete, Aire Park aims to provide 1,100 modern homes and capacity for workplace for over 10,000 people between numerous buildings blended into the residential layout.
This blend of residential, commercial, parking and public spaces demonstrates the transformative potential of mixed-use developments in fostering sustainable urban growth. The lego model was impressive as well.
A big thank you to Leeds Women in Property and Aire Park for hosting us in their beautiful new space and for organising such a memorable event. A special mention also goes to The Cha Lounge, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch that added a great end to the afternoon.
It was a fantastic opportunity to see the future of Leeds in action and to connect with so many inspiring professionals in the property industry.
