Casa Melita is sited at the end of St. Helier’s main thoroughfare at the junction of Green Street and La Route du Fort, within a stones throw of the rock of Fort Regent.
Designed as a speculative four storey office building, the ground floor has a high proportion of glazing and so is set back from the floors above to minimise solar gain. The floors above have timber composite windows and are clad in French limestone with granite feature head and cill units. The uppermost floor is again set back giving tenants a roof terrace with views across the city towards the sea. The roof is finished in a prepatinated copper which compliments the limestone walls.
